LG Eve GW620 lands in Singapore
Yet another budget friendly Android phone hits Singapore, LG Eve also sports a QWERTY keypad like the Dext. While Dext is marketed with emphasis to the younger generation showcasing features to help you stay connected to various social media apps, LG Eve is comparatively quiet upon launch.
Billed as the friendly smartphone, let’s see if it lives up to it’s name.
Here’s some specs on the phone itself:
- Android OS 1.5 (No concrete mention if LG will provide updates)
- 5 row slide-out Qwerty Keyboard
- 5MP Autofocus Camera with LED Flash
- Wi-fi
- Resistive touchscreen
- Micro SDHC card slot
- Social Networking Services (SNS) Manager
Alas I do not own the phone myself to write a review on it, though I am considering buying it, here’s a collection of reviews that I found rather helpful in aiding you in your decision on whether or not to buy the phone.

Comment a bit late, but LG will not be updating the OS on this phone.
The feedback at many Android forums for this phone seems quite half-hearted or neutral. I find it not bad as a beginner Android user. But no point in downgrading from your Hero.
